		<description>Actually, powells.com carries 3 formats of ebooks, and I&#039;ve heard they&#039;re looking at carrying more.  The Kindle has it&#039;s own proprietary format, which Amazon won&#039;t share.  Having played around with several ebook readers, I like the B&amp;N Nook.  The display is actually brighter and it will display many formats of ebooks.  So, you can still buy your ebooks from an independent bookstore w/o giving in to the online uber-giants.</description>
